The site
4play off road driving operate from a 30 acre site known as Broad Oak Farm situated a few miles south of bristol.
We have been operating from our current location for 4 years and have watched it change enourmousley in that time. initially just an area of rolling pasture land with an area of woodland tucked away in one corner, we have constructed a three acre lake which has recentley been stocked with rainbow trout.Fed from our own spring the water is crystal clear and teaming with insect life as a result of which the fish get fatter by the day.
The variety of terrain around the farm lends itself to all sorts of traning. Rolling pasture is ideal for the soft roader fraternity to try out their vehciles without risk of damage.At the oppasite end of the spectrum our woodland driving and winching area will test your driving skills and the vehicles to the limit.
Broad Oak farm is unlike the majority of UK off road centres, whilst driver training is the core of our business our respect for the countryside obliges us to manage the land in a sustainable way. Vehicle impact and damage is managed responsibly with a constant maintenance programme ensuring that soil erosion and compaction is not excessive.What this does mean is that 'pay and play' activities are not caterd for. The effect of just a handfull of vehicles driving irresponsibly in wet conditions can be devestating and can take years to repair.
Bushcraft and other activities

New for 2007 we are using our stunning location to provide some superb activites. These are idealy put together as a package suiting perhaps groups of friends,work colleagues, families, father and Son, Stag and Hen groups or the individual wanting some peace and quiet.
A typical package may include a mornings trout fishing including some basic casting tuition, insect recognition and hopefully at the end, preperation of a fish for cooking.
This could be followed by an afternoon setting up a bushcraft type camp with a shelter, fire and an evening meal caught in the woods or the lake. We promise not to subject you to hideous toilet experiences,eating anything disgusting or a visit from the cast of deliverence.
The next day might involve an introductory 4x4 driving course and an hour on our shooting range followed by a pub lunch and the journey home. Everyone is an individual with different requirements, Tell us what you would like and we will do our best to arrange an unforgettable weekend.
